We won't send you to the manufacture for answers. Our Factory trained staff has the answers for you here in house.
Here are some tips to help you maintain your equipment.
1. Keep fresh fuel available. Fuel can go stale in as little as 30 days. We recommend that you only buy enough gas to last you 30 days or so. Also, stabilizer is a good additive to put in.
2. Keep your equipment clean and lubed. Rust is the number 3 problem with most outdoor power equipment.
3. Keep your receipts. Warranties require us to submit a copy of your dated receipts if a warranty repair is done. Warranty covers Defects in material and workmanship ONLY.
4. Check the oil every time you go to use your unit. It could have been full the last time you checked and then used enough to cause a failure after a hard day of 100 degree mowing. Engines use oil at different rates.
5. Keep your saw chain out of the dirt. Dirt is deadly to saw chain and saw components.
